Privacy Policy
Alliance Service Group Pty Ltd is committed to providing quality services to you and this policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your Personal Information.
We have adopted the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Privacy Act). The NPPs govern the way in which we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of your Personal Information. A copy of the Australian Privacy Principles may be obtained from the website of The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.aoic.gov.au
What is Personal Information and why do we collect it?
Personal Information is information or an opinion that identifies an individual. Examples include your name, address, email address, phone number, mobile number, and any other details required for us to deliver our services effectively.
We collect Personal Information in a number of ways, including through interviews, correspondence, telephone conversations, emails, our website (www.alliancecc.com.au), partner websites, media platforms, cookies, publicly available sources, and from authorised third parties. We cannot guarantee the privacy practices of websites or organisations operated by third parties.
We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of delivering and managing our services. This includes booking appointments, providing job updates, communicating job progress, sending missed-call follow-ups, managing service requests, and ensuring a smooth customer experience. Your contact details — including your mobile number — may be used to send essential service-related SMS messages for these purposes.
We also collect Personal Information to provide information to our clients and, where you have provided consent, to send marketing communications or promotional offers. We may use your Personal Information for secondary purposes that are closely related to the primary purpose, where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by contacting us or using the opt-out instructions provided in our messages.
When collecting Personal Information, we will always explain why it is needed and how it will be used wherever appropriate and possible.
Sensitive Information
Sensitive information is defined in the Privacy Act to include information or opinion about such things as an individual’s racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership of a trade union or other professional body, criminal record or health information.
Sensitive information will be used by us only:
- For the primary purpose for which it was obtained
- For a secondary purpose that is directly related to the primary purpose
- With your consent; or where required or authorised by law.
SMS Communications and Consent
We may use your mobile phone number to send you SMS messages related to the services you request from us. This may include booking confirmations, job updates, job progress notifications, service reminders, and missed-call follow-ups, as well as other important information required to deliver your service.
By providing your mobile number to us—whether through our website, by phone, during a booking, or through one of our partner platforms—you give your express consent for Alliance to send you SMS messages for these service-related purposes. Message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. Opting out will not affect your ability to receive services from us, but it may limit our ability to provide real-time updates relating to your appointment or job.
If you choose to receive promotional SMS messages from us, these will only be sent where you have given additional consent. You may opt out of promotional messages at any time in the same way
