Frequently Asked Questions

There is a $99 Annual Fee, charged on the account open date and annually on the anniversary of the account open date. The ‘open date’ is defined as the date settlement is made or the date the customer makes their first cards transaction, whichever comes first i.e. we may open an account, but the Annual Fee won’t be charged until the first transaction/settlement takes place. The $99 Annual Fee needs to be paid in full as part of the first statement or by the statement due date (i.e. within the 55 Day Interest Free Term) to avoid interest charges.

The Standard Annual Percentage Rate is 23.99% p.a. and is payable on any balance outstanding after an Interest Free Term expires.

Other feed and charges may apply as set out in the Credit Contract and Product Schedule.

The customer will receive a welcome letter pack followed by a Lombard 180 card and PIN within 7-10 days.

The first repayment is due 55 days after the first purchase is settled by Lombard unless there is a payment deferred period. If there is a payment deferred period, the first repayment is due at the end of the deferred period – unless the customer makes another transaction (i.e. a card transaction) other than the promotional transaction. A statement will be send to the customer 3 weeks before the payment due date.

The Minimum Monthly Payment (MMP) is 3% of the outstanding balance of the Lombard account or $30.00. whichever is greater. For example; if the outstanding balance is $5,000, then the MMP is $150. The customer will receive a monthly statement setting out the minimum amount due and the due date.

I cannot rate Alliance highly enough. It’s always tricky trying to find the right business to choose for the first time and after reading all the positive reviews online I booked right away. Sam, Rob,Shadi and Adam were part of the installation team that have just left .. They were a delight to have in the house.Rarely do you get a company that under promises and over delivers. I have to say that the experience from our first call in for a repair quote to the final installation of a new Actron system was terrific.We had a thorough explanation of the repair and replace options . When we decided to go for the full replacement , we were taken through the options very clearly and thoroughly. Thanks for that Josh and Michael. The system is in,, the house is cool and and any debris taken away and the working space was vacuumed. All with a minimum of fuss.There is an obvious pride in the workmanship and a genuine sense of teamwork . The guys seemed to really enjoy working for the company and with each other . Alliance is easily the most professional team of air-con technicians I have used. I had Jake Perri come out to my apartment today, he was punctual, easy going and extremely professional. I live in an apartment and my external unit is locked in cage, which we were unable to access it as the building manager was dealing with a fire alarm, Jake (wanting to make sure the job get's done before XMAS) actually was able to climb over the fence to ensure that he was able to complete his review of the unit, found the root cause and stayed on the phone to the manufacturer for 30 + mins to ensure he could source the replacement piece,I highly recommend the team at Alliance and Jake in particular - extremely helpful blokeCheers,

I recently had Alliance CC install a Mitsubishi multi-split system in our apartment in October 2019 with three heads and one compressor on the balcony. Kirk came out to do an initial quote (for free) a short while back and unlike the others, he provided an extremely detailed quote including exact parts, specifications and pricing. The documentation was able to be submitted easily to our strata/owners corp for quick approval as it was well documented, and approval came quickly. In the lead up to accepting the quote, Kirk and James were very helpful and supportive as I asked for advice on exactly what specification I needed for my small apartment without overspending since I had a tight budget.On the day, I met Hayden, Shadi, Thomas, Corey and Connor who were extremely professional in how they interacted with myself as well as the building manager. They were well organised, had all the tools they needed and were able to be left on their own to do everything properly. The quality of the installation was excellent with the colour-matching and method they ran wires and pipes throughout the apartment looking as seamless as possible (refer to photos below). This was a pretty large job given the limitations in our apartment's strict strata/by-laws and the floorplan. One month later, everything is working perfectly and I have no complaints, and am also glad that we right-sized the compressor unit.The only negative I'd have (which is nitpicking) is that whilst they offer to clean up after themselves and in fairness, go above and beyond what most tradies would do (eg mopping the floor), there was still dust and mess everywhere behind doors/walls/etc... and even though they used their own drop sheets to cover things, unfortunately they didn't fully cover some key furniture such as our baby's cot and our bed resulting in a lot of drilling dust being everywhere. Whilst a minor complaint, it was still frustrating since it meant we had to spend the evening cleaning up and washing linen before we could sleep. To Alliance's credit again, when I did have concerns over an area of the plaster which hadn't set properly, Kirk offered to come out straight away and he fixed it immediately, and also found a few spots I had missed and cleaned it with their industrial vacuum. This instant response to feedback was a surprise and I appreciated this.So all in all, I would highly recommend Alliance for others looking for an air conditioning installation especially a complex one. The all in one quote for both supply and installation means you have a single point of contact both now and in the future (should something go wrong), their quotes are detailed and specific (so you can easily get strata approval) and they stand by the quality of their work and are willing to fix anything which isn't 100%. As far as I can tell, the work was all done to a very high standard without any shortcuts and the end result is one that I'm happy to look at everyday. The professionalism demonstrated by all of their staff both from a sales perspective and the team actually doing the installation should be commended and left a very positive impression on me.I would also mention the reason why we chose Alliance over the competitors which were cheaper is that the detailed quote they provided was clearly itemised and they had a 'no surprises' approach which I really appreciated. The quote was exactly what we paid and there was no deviation/cash-grab at the end. The big box retailers who had their recommended installers come out tended to give very rough back of the envelope quotes which didn't inspire confidence that there wouldn't be a surprise later on especially on things such as piping/wiring lengths, proposed routes, and the need for a pump given the length of distance. These are things which none of the other installers even considered or mentioned and I suspect would've been an awkward situation during the installation if it turned out we needed them.
