I was happy with the service from Alliance through the whole process. Harry spent a alot of time at our house discussing the various options for aircon (ducted vs. Split systems) and the pros and cons of each - he even tried to find the manhole access to our roof. He was also very responsive to questions I had about the quote once we'd made a decision.
BJ and Carlos came for the install. They were very professional, did a good job of cleaning up afterwards, and spent time explaining the whole install process and how to use the systems once they had left.

I had ducted underfloor aircon installed in most of the house, and a split system where the subfloor couldn’t be accessed. While I got another quote which was a little cheaper I went with Alliance because their explanation of their process, their detailed answers to my questions and their after installation policy and support gave me confidence that they would do a good job and I wasn’t disappointed. They were extremely efficient and completed the job in less than two full days. They ensured that floor surfaces were protected from dust and foot traffic and they cleaned up at the end of the day and the end of the job. I needed to change the look of the floor vents to better match my timber floors and they made the change within a week. The system works really well and I wish I’d done it years ago. I would like to specifically recommend Ivan the main installer, as well as Ben, Moja and Brody.

How to prevent Emergency Electrical Repairs?

Often when an emergency electrical repair is needed, it usually arrives without warning likely interrupting the routine of any household, however, if the safety of your property or family is at risk, it’s important to get attention to the appliance fault urgently as soon as it becomes evident.

Alliance Climate Control will respond to any emergency you might have. We consider your safety extremely important and take our responsibilities seriously.

However, as a home owner, there are a number of things to remember to keep your home and appliances in good condition and avoid such emergency situations from arising.

Make sure power points around the house are in good condition, not cracked or broken or blackened in any way due to arcing electricity or overloaded with an excessive number of appliances connected at once.

In addition, keep all appliance cords and plugs free from damage; twisted or burnt cords are often the beginning of electrical faults. It is important to maintain the outside of the property also and ensure the roof is free from leaks and the ceiling cavity remains dry to avoid any short circuit in light fixtures or ceiling exhaust fans.

If, however a fault is found with an appliance that plugs into a power point, either blowing the safety fuse, or causing the circuit breaker or RCD to “trip “, the appliance should be removed from the wall socket and quarantined away from use until it can be replaced or the fault can be repaired.

If a fault is found with an appliance that has been “hard wired” into the circuit such as an oven, sink waste grinder or air conditioner, switch off the power at the isolating switch of the appliance in question until repairs can be made.
