What are Emergency Electrical Repairs?

Wow! I called Alliance Climate Control to get some advice on my ageing air-conditioniers and from that moment on, it was a pleasure to deal with such a customer focused company. After emails / texts from Head Office explaining the process, Raj turned up to give me a diagnostic report on my almost broken air-conditioning system. After explaining all of the possible scenarios, I decided to purchase a new system. Team Leader Vy and Cristian turned up a couple of days later and from that point on, it was all systems go. Everything was explained simply and professionally as the process went along. Other technicians turned up ( Harry, James and Moller) to help with the installation (which at some points was more difficult than expected due to my ageing terrace house) and it was all carried out in an expert manner.

Your installation has been mostly excellent but very recently I noticed that the condensation has not been flowing into the evaporation tray. There is a short horizontal section of the pipe for discharging the water into the tray but the water, instead of dripping into the tray, tracks backwards and drips onto the floor. I have remedied this by attaching a plastic cone to that short horizontal section. In the future, ensure that the last short section of the pipe SLOPES into the tray to ensure that water doesn't track backwards.

I had two quotes both of which the gentlemen giving the quote were at my house for no more than 30mins.
Darko from Alliance came and was totally professional and inspected the house roof cavity and all. He then sat down with me and discussed the system that would best suited, he explained the installation process and how Alliance worked in all he was here for over 2 hours. It is because of Darko knowledge and commitment we decided to go with Alliance.
The installers arrived on time being Matt,Aaron,Mahalo and Andre. They worked here for 3 days putting in the system. We were totally impressed with the way they worked and the quality they delivered. How to prevent Emergency Electrical Repairs?

Often when an emergency electrical repair is needed, it usually arrives without warning likely interrupting the routine of any household, however, if the safety of your property or family is at risk, it’s important to get attention to the appliance fault urgently as soon as it becomes evident.

Alliance Climate Control will respond to any emergency you might have. We consider your safety extremely important and take our responsibilities seriously.

However, as a home owner, there are a number of things to remember to keep your home and appliances in good condition and avoid such emergency situations from arising.

Make sure power points around the house are in good condition, not cracked or broken or blackened in any way due to arcing electricity or overloaded with an excessive number of appliances connected at once.

In addition, keep all appliance cords and plugs free from damage; twisted or burnt cords are often the beginning of electrical faults. It is important to maintain the outside of the property also and ensure the roof is free from leaks and the ceiling cavity remains dry to avoid any short circuit in light fixtures or ceiling exhaust fans.

If, however a fault is found with an appliance that plugs into a power point, either blowing the safety fuse, or causing the circuit breaker or RCD to “trip “, the appliance should be removed from the wall socket and quarantined away from use until it can be replaced or the fault can be repaired.

If a fault is found with an appliance that has been “hard wired” into the circuit such as an oven, sink waste grinder or air conditioner, switch off the power at the isolating switch of the appliance in question until repairs can be made.
