Gas Central Heater Service Sydney
Regular Maintenance Tune ups and repairs of gas heating systems are critical for continued operating efficiency.
Regular inspections and checks on operating performance are easily completed by our service technicians, generally without affecting the operation of the system or inconveniencing those in the living space. Such inspections are invaluable to highlight if further attention is needed, preventing costly unplanned repairs or frustration to the building’s occupants.
Common defects we find are:
- Carbon monoxide leak
- Leaking gas
- Blocked filer
- Leaking Flue connections
- Faulty Igniter and sensor

Gas Heater Maintenance
To ensure that your gas heater is operating at its full potential, we recommend that the 15-Point Comprehensive Gas Heater Maintenance Tune up is conducted every 12 months.
This is because your system is continually circulating air and the fan will get dust build up. We will also check the gas burning pressures and complete a carbon monoxide test to ensure your ducted heating system is operating correctly.
Our experienced technicians deliver maintenance Tune up of the highest standard. They are all accredited in their field of expertise and strive to ensure all services are carried out to our customer’s satisfaction.
It’s recommend to have a regular Ducted heating service done to reduce the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning caused by faulty gas appliances.
Why Does Your Heater Need Maintenance?
We all want to feel safe in our homes, as we should. But what if your old gas heater is costing you more money and could be making you and your family ill?
As the seasons change and we begin to turn on our heaters, be conscious if you or anyone in your home is experiencing any of the below symptoms, or worsened symptoms particularly when the heater is on. If so, there may be a faulty gas heater releasing carbon monoxide into your home. Symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning mimic those of a flu and can include:
- Headaches
- Dizziness
- Weakness
- Vommiting
- Nausea
- Chest pain,
- Shortness of breath
- Confusion
- Blurred vision
- Loss of consciousness
There are multiple ways to mitigate your risk from carbon monoxide poisoning. The most prominent is ensuring that your heater is serviced regularly (at least every two years) by a trained and qualified technician.
Further, installing carbon monoxide alarms are another option, but without industry standards in Australia, you’ll want to be sure the alarm is certified to meet either European (EN50291) or US (UL2034) standards.
