What is a Suspended Ceiling Mounted System Installation?
A Suspended Ceiling Mounted System is a powerful, clean, energy efficient way to deliver comfortable air to any space or area in your office, retail space or multi-use building.
A suspended ceiling mounted system installation comprises an indoor unit mounted adjacent but below the ceiling whilst the matched outdoor unit is located discreetly outside in a location where suitably clean intake air is available and exhausted air can be dissipated freely.
The indoor unit suitable for spaces with high ceilings up to 4.3 metres high, is fitted with motion and temperature sensors for auto-responsive operation.
A highly efficient fan design provides high velocity air flow even from high ceilings, but at surprisingly low sound levels. Comfort level of all occupants is assured with a range of horizontal and vertical vent movements providing a wide range of air flow options to suit any application or room shape characteristics.
Additional and selectable options for increased reliability and comfort include a condensate collection pump system to remove condensate from the drain tray and draining it safely away from harm.
In addition, a supplemental outside air option to draw additional outside air, may also be fitted on 14 Kw systems.
Why is a Suspended ceiling mounted System Installation better?
A suspended ceiling mounted system is able to be fitted to rooms of varying shape and features. Even at extraordinarily high ceiling spaces at up to 4.3 metres high, a suspended ceiling mounted system fitted with an energy efficient system, delivers the required comfort levels and air flow characteristics for all applications.
A system installation of this type is easily adaptable to either new or retrofit installations. The indoor unit has been designed to operate in relatively small space envelopes requiring minimal clear space at either side or rear of the unit. With a large rated capacity, it is able to provide comfort levels to large areas especially suited to restaurants, auditoriums or other large volume spaces where many occupants may be present at one time.
A suspended ceiling mounted system has many benefits, including:
- One of the most powerful systems available in its class, almost 180% more capacity than many large split or multi-split type systems.
- More efficient direct current motors and inverter compressors deliver maximum power at start up, then maintains consistent comfort levels around set temperature levels. Maintaining consistent outlet air temperatures, enables less energy demand and lower running cost.
- Sensors located in the fascia panel of the indoor unit automatically sense room temperature and occupant numbers. If no occupants are present in the room such as a vacated classroom, the system will shut down after a set time has elapsed. Alternatively, if the room temperature and occupant numbers temporarily increase, such as may occur in a restaurant, cooling is increased for a set time, returning to the original set temperature when diners might vacate the restaurant.
- Wireless remote control enables set temperatures, fan speeds and vent directions to be regulated from any point in the room. Service or filter condition warnings may also be indicated. However, sleep functions, timed start or stop options or remote Wi-Fi operations are completed using wired command consoles.
